Brodibb Lanka (Pvt) Ltd is the subsidiary of M Brodribb Pty Ltd in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. M Brodribb Pty Ltd designs and builds power conversion systems for resource, electricity transmission, electricity distribution and industrial applications. Our range includes battery charging systems, cathodic protection rectifiers, high current and high voltage DC power supplies, AC stabilisers and specialist transformers, manufactured in Australia by our Australian owned and operated firm.
We have over 60 years of electrical engineering experience which we use to design and build integrated systems tailored to client requirements. M. Brodribb was founded in 1949 in Melbourne, Victoria, by Max and Lisa Brodribb. Commencing as a manufacturer of small power and audio transformers for the developing local electrical and electronics industries, we progressed to larger and more sophisticated magnetic designs and then into the production of power conversion equipment which used those products. As the Australian economy changed our products and services changed, too, and we now manufacture a wide range of engineered solutions for AC or DC power conversion.
We manufacture our equipment at our modern premises in Glen Iris, Victoria, 9km from the centre of Melbourne. Today you will find our power conversion equipment in power stations, warships, substations, oil refineries, gas platforms, wharves, mines, factories – wherever a specialist engineered power solution is required.
M. Brodribb manufactures battery chargers, transformers and cathodic protection rectifiers in Australia. We use modern design processes including AutoCAD® Electrical and the Altium suite of printed circuit board design tools.
Our qualified electrical and electronic engineers work to produce flexible power solution designs and our team of skilled electricians and assemblers turn these designs into reality.

We provide a wide range of complementary products for our DC systems, including high quality Lead Acid, Nickel Cadmium and Lithium batteries for power applications, a wide range of switchmode technologies for battery charging and cathodic protection rectifiers and accessories, including monitoring and control systems and GPS interrupters.
